With a twenty-five year career in advertising, Phil Balshi has an exceptional instinct for understanding just what customers like to buy and clients need to sell. Having bought, sold, and renovated many properties himself, including a stunning loft conversion in the Flat Iron District and a charming Upper Eastside Penthouse, Phil has an exceptional eye for detail and knows the ins and outs of virtually every neighborhood in Manhattan.
After graduating with honors from Harvard with a B.A. concentrating in environmental studies, urban planning, architecture and design, Phil headed to Madison Avenue where he worked as a Senior Vice President & Creative Director for Young and Rubicam. In between two tours of duty with Y&R, both here and abroad, Phil became the youngest member of the Board of Directors of Lintas Worldwide. His work there for Coca-Cola, IBM, AT&T, LEGO, and The Coalition for the Homeless garnered him dozens of industry awards in virtually every print, film and television category.
